Why does the fuse on the circuit trip on my house fuseboard when I switch on my Dyson CR01?

Hi Clive , firstly check cable all the way along to make sure there are no cuts or breaks in it , if ok , then the fault has to be internal hence the brushes on the motor have worn right down and are causing it to short out , blowing the fuse , hope this helps
