yes there is a filter located behind the bottom front plinth which is slightly difficult to remove. You pull the plinth forward a little then slide left or right and pull forward again. The filter cap unscrews to reveal the chamber which can get blocked with sludge and even money! I found a 50p coin in mine recently. Most important though to screw back very tightly else the leak becomes a flood when you next use the washing machine! Hope this helps..
