Astra 06 Where is the switch that controls the boot light?

The Boot on Astra 2006 has faulty switch and warning light comes on on dash board when boot closed. Alo rear reg plate lights come on. Are these connected to boot switch?

boot light switch may be incoperated into boot latch assembly,some makers rely on boot/tailgate hinges for an electrical earth -[ which can give problems at times] you could try running seperate earth from main body to tailgate/boot lid by-passing hinges,[if this is the problem!]
