Mend Chevrolet Z34 Open Car Door

how to open and fix broken car door?

My '93 chevy lumina Z34 door handle was broken, and me and my dad replaced it and now the door wont open from the inside or the outside. I cant get to the handle without opening to fix the part which we believe came loose. How do i get it to open??
