How to disassemble Kenmore Vacuum?

Kenmore Canister Vacuum 116.25812505, Motor has strong burning smell. This is the motor in the canister, not the rug beater attachment. I can open the body to access the motor, but don't know how to remove the motor without breaking certain plastic parts.

Darn, I finaly find my question and there is no answer. ARGH!!!!

Same problem here .. easy enough to get to the motor housing, but there's a plastic piece that holds the wires in place that has to be slid off .. there must be a pin or catch somewhere ... anyone know how to get this off?
