Mend Hotpoint CTD80 Display Panel Light

How can I fix display panel light?

I have the Hotpoint Ultima CTD80 and the display panel that shows which programme I have selected, is very difficult to read as it is very feint and flashes. Do I need a new bulb? If so, how do I get to it to replace?
