If your beko f/f is a frost free model & you have problems with freezer temp, it could be defrost timer not activating defrost cycle. i have repaired several in recent months with same problem. Try switching cabinet off for atleast 24hrs to defrost cabinet & restart. If freezer reaches temp after this, it will confirm defrost problem which should cost in region of £60 - £75 to rectify. hope this helps.

Inb spesponse to 'it could be a gas or compressor etc.'. Thanks for your reply. This sounds expensive & justifies my mother-in-law and wife's view that we need a new freezer. It is year-old so i suppose it does'nt owe us anything. Thanks again

could be gas or compressor issue if it cools but not efficiently
