nissian micra 52 plate headlight fault?

hi, just changed the offside headlight bulb, and after fitting and doing a lights test, the full beam on the nearside headlight bulb isn't working. have been informed, when the nearside headlight bulb was previously changed this same fault has arisen, wondered if anyone had any ideas to what the problem might be? the fuse box under the steering wheel doesn't have a fuse for the headlights, is there another fuse box under the bonnet? any help would be greatfully recieved thanks libby :-)
