i have a mk3 mondeo, from start for about the first 30 mins when changing gear or coming to a stop, the revs are really high, what can i do to stop it??
If the engine returns to normal idle speed about 900rpm (Petrol) when it is warmed up...... leave it alone. It should be a gradual lowering of engine speed when the engine gets closer to operating temperature. Check out "TalkFord.com" site for faults
