Scantronics 9427 - preset entry time?

I have a scantronics 9427 alarm system - I have no probs setting the alarm but when I open the door the alarm goes off straight away, there seems to be no preset entry time applied. Can I change this to allow 30 secs to be able to turn the alarm off when I come in?
