Mend proline slimline Dishwasher Heating Element Repair

proline slimline dishwasher?

this dishwasher will not heat up the water and then does not perform the wash cycle , i think this may need a new heater element can anyone confirm this and do you know the part number and availability ?

I am trying to find out how many people are having problems with the proline pdw080. I have an ongoing complaint with Comet regarding my machine. They tell me the timer has gone but do not have parts to repair as they have been on back order for 12 months. Basically stuffed. If anybody has the same problem i.e. dishwasher lights on but timer stops half way through programme, please let me know
