life span of lynx electronic combi boiler?

what is the life span of above on a legallity basis before it should be changed, I recently had a new part fitted as hot water is not functioning properly and heatng engineer felt the new part would not make a great difference, the boiler was also serviced and was aged at approx 15 plus years
