Mend Scottish Gas 532i Heating Pressure Radiators

How do you increase the pressure on a scottish gas 532i?

Since I bled the radiators the pressure on my boiler has dropped to just above 0 and the system is not heating the house. I have tried to use the filling key but it seems stuck - how hard can you turn it and which direction?
