Mend Toshiba CF32C40 Going Great 10

How can I get my toshibas menu to stop going on its own?

My Toshiba 32" has great picture and sound. It is about 10 years old and has just started giving me a problem, the menu, including volume, brightness, timer, et al, starts going about 30 seconds after turning it on and doesn't stop. What can I do?

I don't know this model.
However, check in the setup menu, some tv's have a 'Demo' mode for retailers.
You may find it to be switched to demonstration mode.
