Technika 37" 1080P HDMI Problems?

My Technika 37" 1080P TV has something wrong with the HDMI ports.
It is 18 months old and the HDMI ports are proving to be rather temperamental. For example it won’t even recognise my PS3 when I plug it in. When I connect my V+ box I get picture but no sound or sometimes sound but no picture.
If I play a DVD through via scart I get perfect sound & vision – please help!
