Mend Panasonic RV32 Dvd Message

panasonic rv32 dvd player shows on screen locked and wil not clear?

How do I clear the Locked message on my PANASONIC DVD RV32. It will play the dvd however if you wanted to change dvd none of the buttons work and the message "locked" appears on display.
