how can I mend a chipped cornr of a glass ceramic hob? I still have the pi?

how can I repair a chipped corner of my glass ceramic hob? I still have the piece that came off. If it is not possible to glue the piece back on , can I smooth down the sharp edges?

You need to use a very strong adhesive like Arrodite as this will stand heat - Failing that you can file it down (carefully) with a very find file. Make sure you switch off the power before working on this appliance.
