There is a thermal fuse fitted to the inside of these sets, which can sometimes be intermittent, but also could be a fault with the media box, and the signal that it sends to the set, which is more likely, as there are often problems with the media box, and the power supply may be a bit suspect, which would turn your set off, do a search on the internet about resetting the power supply, it is easy to do, i have posted instructions along with others on how to do this, search Highlandelextrix for fix http://www.highlandelectrix.fsnet.co.uk/tvs/TECHWOOD.TV.html
