Mend Computer Desktop Power

my computer wont turn on what do i do ?

Ive tried turning the computer on{my dads } and there is nothing, is there anything i can check for despite the obvious of loose wire or dust, or is it a repair shop job?

Check fuse in plug, if this is not blown then the chances are that the power supply in the pc is fried and will need replacing. This is usually a case of removing half a dozen screws and disconnecting half a dozen power cables (from the hard disks, cdrom and the mother board) fitting the new power supply and reconnecting the power cables to disks and motherboard.
