Mend Mercedes-Benz 311CDI Plugs Start Jump

Do mercedes sprinters have heater plugs, ?

I have a sprinter 311cdi, in weather about freezing the only way it will start is to jump start it . The pre heat dashboard light is working but it does not appear to be pre heating the engine.

yep 1 for each cylinder remove engine cover from inside the vehicle for better access remove glow plug and test
