To Husaqvarna Man?

thanks for the reply to my Homelite 360 fuel problem.I read in another foreum talking about a rubber boot at the btm of carb and cylinder, impulse line, leaking which maybe part of my fuel feeding problem.Would the crankcase test confirm the above reference to rubber boot/impulse line leakage? Would these parts be available?

It will certainly tell you if the induction tube is leaking, however it depends on how the impulse is done on this saw, to do a pressure test you need to blank off the exhaust and inlet port, then put a pressure/vacume in through the spark plug hole, if the impulse is through a hole in the induction block this will have been blocked off, if the impulse is a pipe direct to the carb then you would see if the pressure is coming through it, sorry to be vague but i am not too conversent on this brand of machine, all chainsaws work on the same principles.A simple pulse test is too put some oil in the pulse tube/block and crank the engine slowly, you should see the oil moving back and forth.
