Why has my machine stopped recording on Tesco DVD+RW disks?

I am using a Proline DVDR800D recorder/playbck. In the past it reorded on Tesco+RW 4x 4.7 GB discs. Now it WILL record on previously recorded disks but will NOT record on new disks of the same make and type.
It goes through the motions but will not close off the recording thus leaving the disc blank. I have tried two batches of these discs with the same results.

No fix I am afraid but have suffered the same problem after using Tesco DVD+RW disks in my daewoo dvd recorder for ages - now new disks only appear to record for 10-15 mins before 'disc error' appears and then have to switch off at mains to reset dvd recorder. Nothing has recorded. Have also purchased dvds from other retailer in case Tesco had a faulty batch.
