menu button will not let me change from radio to listen to music?

How do I unfreeze my menu button to let me change my program from radio to other selection? It was frozen on refresh data and I fixed it , but now I can not depress menu buitton to change from radio to another program like listen to a book , or even to record music. Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
