i have a baxi solo wm 70/4 that wont work, it sounds like the fan wont turn and just makes a screaching noise when it tries to turn on ( which it does but only about a quater of a rotation). the only indicator light that is on on the control box is light 3... any suggestions as to what this might be.
I have a solo 2 with a similar problem. Mine is caused by the fan not turning....my fault cos it is sited in the void under my house and picks up dirt after a while. Take the fan out and refurb it or get a spare and replace. Dont throw the old one out cos you can refurb it and keep as a spare.

check on the fan if you have 240 volt continous and fan not turning than it is fan faulty so replace it
