94 isuzu bighorn running problem?

had car 5 years and never had problem till now. car ticks over and sets off ok but when the automatic gearbox changes up to third gear it just splutters and stalls. any ideas on whats wrong and where i could get it repaired. stockton on tees N/E England

Need more info. Petrol/Diesel. If you hold lever down to 2 will it eventually die, if so its engine problem. For box prob check out www.fedauto.co.uk
