My toilet cistern has recently started to refill very slowly after flushing. I've taken off the cistern lid and it's refilling at barely a trickle. Any ideas please?
If it is a plastic ball valve then the diaphram in the valve has prob got hard and stopping the flow. Replace the diaphram. If it is a brass or traditional ballvalve there may be dirt in the orifice leading into the valve or a sticking cylinder which holds the washer. take apart and clean and while out replace washer.
