Mend Combi Boiler Hot Water Flow

Replacing hot tap gland on a combi boiler system ?

I need to replace the kitchen hot tap gland on a hot water system with a combi boiler. How do I turn off the hot water flow. Is it sufficient to turn off the cold water main feed.
