does anyone no why my washer/drier wont work at all?

basicly my hotpoint washer/drier wd62 was drying clothes and stopped before the time was up, and now nothing works at all, the ON light dosn't even illuminate, I have changed the fuse so it cant be that, so why the heck wont it work please somone help.
