Mend Vauxhall Astra Gear Change

p reg vauxhall astra 1.7d floppy gear stick?

Hi, I can change gears ok but there is quite a bit a lot of movement in the gear stick. I am guessing it could be a loose linkage or something. Is it an easy fix as my mechanicle know how is limited.

most likely to be a worn linkage, fairly easy to replace the whole linkage,rods & gear stick etc all together.
