Mend Bosch Temperature Control Fault

fridge motor runs a long time?

When the motor on my Bosch larder fridge cuts in it runs for a long time, about 30 to 40 minutes. It gets to temp 5 degrees during this time.
However, often if I just move the temp control just a touch it switches off!
Is this normal or is there a fault?
