Dirt Devil Featherlite Stopped up?

It is clogged or your belt is very worn. They usually clog somewhere between the motor fan inlet and the bag filler tube. Try using another vacuum (canister, if available), to clean out the base of the Dirt Devil. You will need to remove the brush roller access plate on the bottom of the base to clean it out correctly. You may need a phillips screwdriver and a flat head screw driver to pry to plate away once the screws are out. At this time, it is also a good idea to replace your belt.
