two problems - i'm constantly 'redirected" and I'm blocked from some sites?

I had a virus, specifically a windows security system virus. I ran a bunch of virus removal things and got rid of most of my problems.

BUT here are two things that still happen.

First - about 75% of the time I click on a link, I get "redirected" to some other site. I just have to back click and then re-click the link - and then it works. Always works the second time. HOW can i stop that?????

Second - the only time that doesn't work is when I try and go to the site that I used to go to the MOST of any site. my favorite site. I can click a link to that website 50 times and it will redirect every time. I can type in the website address and it will still redirect. I've gone to every site that I visit - and it works the first, or the second time. But my favorite site seems to have somehow been blocked by my computer.

I've gone to the site on my other computer (my desk top) just fine. But my laptop won't allow me to go there.

ANY SUGGESTIONS?????????????

I'd love to be able to click a link and actually go to it. Rather than being redirected, back-clicking, then reclicking my original site.
