How do you mend "wear" in jeans on the inner thigh area?

What about pants that are made of Spandex-Nylon or Workout tights that have holes or worn through??

You can open the outer seam (not the overlapped seam) on the outside of the leg. This will allow you to lay open the leg flatter. On the wrong side, use a scrap piece of jean from another pair, or a scrap piece of other fabric. Stitch around the patch, stitch thru the hole (worn area) in several spots, stitch around the hole. Resew the seam.

A local seamstress in your area should be easily able to handle this for you.

You can stabilize the jeans from the inside with a patch. Turn the leg inside out and use an iron-on patch. If the patch rubs your leg, there are stabilizers available that you can iron-on over the patch so it won't rub.

Another option is that you can actually using a darning stitch to "mend" the area. However, if you do it this way, the mending will be noticeable.
