my vaxhall frontria wont rev past 3000 rpm it dise to abowt 2000 rpm. what coud it be ? its a 1994 modle

Just had a similar problem with an Espace. The back box had collapsed inside and blocked the exhaust. You will get a hissing noise as exhaust is finding another way out This fault could also be lack of fuel, ie, tank not venting, filter clogged etc.
