fix a peugeot 206?

hi i tried to fit a sony gt24 cd player in to my peugeot 206, it all worked fine and stored the radio settings it didnt switch off with the ignition but did when car had been locked for a minute or two, went back to the car later on and the stroed radio setting had gone so removed the stereo and switched the red and yellow cable on the sony loom to switch the permenant and switched power supply, now i can hear the radio wizz asif it recieves power but it doesnt switch on the digital display (with time ...on) also does not switch on anymore and the revometer and speedometer and fuel guage and themperature guage dont work! or iluminate even whern the headlights are on!
there is now like a error code sound, it goes beep,beep,beep...........beeeep any ideas? please help,also extra info = 12/13 volts up the perminant powersupply at back of head unit & 0 volts up the switched power supply no fuses are gone in the fusebox under the bonnet of the fusebox under drivers footwell?
