Mend Thorn EMI Olympic 38/50B Burner Gas Boiler

Where can I get a replacement burner insulation plate?

We have a Thorn EMI Olympic 38/50B Gas Boiler and at the back of the burner is an upright 'asbestos-like' insulation panel to protect against the heat. This has got a crack across it and is showing signs of crumbling. Can you get a replacement part or is there another substitute product that can be used to replace it?
