Mend Thorn EMI Apollo 40B Central Heating Burner Pilot Light

thorn emi apollo 40b?

i have just switched the boiler on, the pilot light is on but the burner only seems to work with a small weak flame. i have tried just putting it on heating water instead of central heating as well but this makes no difference. any help appreceated.

I would guess that you have a faulty gas valve, you will need to get this checked by a qualified engineer.
