How can I fix my Induction Hob?

My Hotpoint Induction hob initially works ok then after 3-10 minutes whether 1 hot plate or more used will suddenly switch off with 1 of the hobs heat indicator flashing and clicking very rapidly after a while 1 minute or so the flashing starts to slow down eventuly it stops flashing and clicking, this can take 3-5 minutes. Some times the hot plates switch off and indicate a"H" if they had been on or sometimes revert to the original settings it can go through this cycle 5 plus times whilst cooking a meal eg boiling potatoes, veg or a frying a steak etc. Powering off the hob at the mains switch and waiting several minutes makes no difference it just continues from where it left off.
