John Deere John Deere LX178 Garden Tools, Lawn Mowers Answer Start Turn

i washed my lx178 it started ran 2mins then died will not start

it may be the same problem that's currently affecting my LX178. (I'm searching for details on how to repair it.) in my case, I'm pretty sure it's a sticking or faulty electric PTO. if the PTO is stuck in the ON position, turning the key will not engage the starter. :-)
