The on/off light keeps flashing along with the delay timer and stain removal buttons.

Indesit Indesit WIL103 Household Appliances, Washing Machines Indesit Flashing Stain

We have a problem with our Indesit WIL103 washing machine. We believe our electric heater requires replacing. How much to buy one ? There are two fishplate terminals which appear easy enough to transfer from the old one to the new, but how do we take off the central electrical connection ?
