How do I replace the bearing on my Indesit washing machine?

open up the back, and carefully set aside all screws, etc...

make a drawing of how you put it back together.

remove the flywheel (difficult you need to stop it from spinning somehow, I put a long driver on a fastening nut inside and braced the flywheel on that)

remove the bolts that are holding the bearing in place. If one breaks, probably not a problem since the entire bearing unit has to go.

remove the tension strip

take it all apart (again, drawing, care)

take out the bearing, get a new one, put it on and set it all back together.
