Mend Hygena Classic Electric Ignition Gas

How can I stop electric ignition from firing on Hygena Classic gas oven?

Hi
My Hygena classic gas oven (not sure how old - was in the house when I moved in 3 years ago) will not stop igniting! The oven and grill both work as usual, but the electric ignition does not stop firing all the time the oven is on, unless you turn it off at the mains.
Does anyone know why or how to stop it? (The constant clicking is REALLY annoying!)
