Triton Ivory 3 Electric shower?

I've had this shower for 11 months and its worked fine, But i turned it on this morning and it wasnt working. There doesn't seem to be any power going to the unit so i took off the cover and tried it again and this time the power light cam on very lightly then went off again. I've also noticed that the live and nuetral wires covers have melted slightly. i tried taking everything out of the terminal block and reconnecting it but still no joy. does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this or has anyone else came accross this problem?
