Mend Halstead Ace High Heating Plumber Diverter Valve

Had our Halstead ace high serviced,cos no dhw?

Next day no dhw,plumber came back, fitted new rubber (DIVERTER?)VALVE.When heating came on no dhw.Anyone know whats going on please?

make sure flow switch is operated when tap turned on...if so could be thermister on plate heat exchanger??
