how can i stop water leaking into ford ka 2002?

i have water leaking into drivers footwell. it has only happened a couple of times but its a worry. i have had rubber door seals changed. this hasnt cured the problem,

Hi Wendy, if it's only on the drivers side, check the rubber seals around the steering column and the brake pedal where it goes through the engine bulkhead
