my toilet fills up and wont shut off therefore its leaking into the toilet ?
Part of my cistern float arm has broken so i replaced it but now the chamber fills up and will not shut off and is just pouring water from the overspill into the toilet bowl. It flushes ok but will not stop flowing water into the toilet bowl
There should be adjustment on the inlet valve end of the float arm undo the lock nut turn the threaded rod about 3 full turns to extend towards the inlet valve plunger rod and re-lock the nut and see how it goes from there, re-adjust if necessary.
