Mend Zanussi ZDC535OW Dryer Switch

Zanussi Electrolux ZDC535OW tumble dryer side panel removal/float switch?

After advise from CK need to remove side panels to locate the float switch, but after removing screws panels wont come off. Is brute force required? I dont want to damage the panels. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks

lid off.remove screws down back on the side you are removing.On the top edge at the front is 1 screw to remove.pull top of side panel towards the back and a hook will pull out of the whole in the front cabinet.now lift away from casing.fit if reverse.no brute force required as such otherwise you will bend it
