On my zanussi washer/dryer WDJ1294 model, there is no heat on the spin drying cycle. The heater element is getting very hot but the pump is not working and the light over the control switch is not illuminated. I have tried another switch and now the drum has stopped turning but everything still works on the washing and spin drying cycle but with no heat.
remove the back half of the machine casing and as you look at it from the front on the right hand side there is a condensor tank.these get blocked and cause problems.if its blocked you will see it as it should be a clear see through plastic when new
