Mend Alpha Heating CB24 Boiler Diagnosis

only getting hot water when heating is on?

i have an alpha cb24 boiler, over the course of a few days i have noticed that i am only getting hot water when my heating is on.
Can any one suggest what is the diagnosis please

i had this a year ago it was the diverter valve that lets the boiler heat up either or..... you can flick mine to manual to see as it usually works on auto i got a new valve from wickes and it sorted mine
