Mend Advent MP82 Camera Battery Digital

How to reset my advent mp82 camera?

I've change my battery setting from alkaline to nimh and every time i switch it on,it says replace battery.
Does anyone know how to reset these cameras because i cant get into the camera settings to changed it back to alkaline?
PLEASE!!!!!

replace the nimh battery with alkline then swithch on ...go into menu and change from alkline to nimh in the software then save , switch off and put the nimh batterys back and away you go...best of luck
